No, infrared sauna cause a significant amount of heat stress and penetrate deep into the tissues. It is not recommended to place the body under stress during pregnancy. 

In an infrared sauna session, your heart rate rises, blood rushes to your limbs, blood vessels expand, and your body initiates cooling by perspiring. This leads to the release of toxins, water, and electrolytes. It’s crucial to maintain hydration levels by consuming enough fluids and electrolytes before, during, and after your session.

Exposing the body to cold water therapy, even for as little as 30 seconds, can trigger a response. Studies indicate a notable rise in norepinephrine release, which has been found to inhibit proinflammatory cytokines, thereby reducing inflammation. We will guide our members to begin with sessions as short as 30 seconds, gradually increasing up to 3 minutes. Through mental focus and training, our members can maintain relaxation for up to 2 minutes with minimal effort. 

Red light therapy (RLT), also known as photobiomodulation (PBM) and Near Infrared (NIR) has been shown to enhance mitochondrial function in cells. Just like plants use sunlight to heal and grow, our body is able to harness specific wavelengths of light and turn them into cellular energy. This, in turn, stimulates your body’s natural healing processes.

RLT has been shown to increase mitochondrial function and collagen production. Studies reveal that red light heals age-related macular degeneration of the eyes and also show a wide range of hormone benefits in both female and men. Making energy more efficient throughout your body improves physical function, speeds the healing process, and lowers inflammation & pain, as demonstrated in peer-reviewed studies.

The effectiveness of compression therapy varies based on the nature and extent of the injury. As noted, compression therapy aids in enhancing circulation, facilitating the influx of nutrient-rich and oxygenated blood to the affected region.

Comfortable, dry non-restrictive clothing and a bathing suit for the sauna and wet therapies. Remember to bring a towel and water as well!

Individuals with open wounds, recent surgical procedures (consult your physician), stents (consult your physician), or stitches should refrain from utilizing the therapies. For those with vascular or cardiac conditions, it is advisable to consult with a physician before beginning any therapy sessions. Using any of the therapies while pregnant is not recommended.
